For all material classes and nominal width ranges
Approx. 350 tons of new pipeline systems were installed during the shutdown of the Schwechat refinery crude oil distillery of OMV. In addition, the experienced specialists of J.Christof took care of the dismantling and new installation of plant components, such as heat exchangers, air coolers, and tanks. The particular feature of this project was that the pipelines had to be integrated into an existing, very closely constructed industrial facility within just 12 days. For this, all installation processes were simulated beforehand, validated by means of feasibility studies, and then documented.
Services:
In the course of installing approx. 750 tons of pipelines of various material qualities and diameters, approximately 25,000 weld seams were produced within a few months. Deploying up to 700 employees, 30 installation coordinators and engineers ensured outstanding planning as well as a smooth project implementation. Despite a challengingly short implementation period, J.Christof was able to impress with their quality of work, adherence to agreed delivery deadlines, and compliance with stringent safety standards.
